Detroit, the city renowned for graffiti and ghettos. But that's not the Detroit I know. Mine is full of architecture and modern art set to the soundtrack of buzzing chains and humming tires. Beat The Train: it means a lot of things to all of its members, but to me it's about breaking out and seeing the city at its best. (0) comments

The Boondock Saints II was full of events that completed and counter acted with the first movie. This was an exciting sequel that brought the brothers back to the big screen with an interesting reason for them to come out of hiding in their homeland, Ireland. (0) comments

The Flint Institute of Arts is definitely a diamond in the rough. Although Flint has a reputation for a number of things, both positive and negative, the FIA is a wonderful place to experience culture in the fine arts, yet it is often overlooked. It hosts a collection of exhibits, both temporary and permanent, and it is worth checking out regularly. (0) comments

In Moon, the film written and directed by Duncan Jones, we are confronted with several fundamental ethical issues. Sam Bell faces the alienation of being alone on a lunar station, completely isolated from earth by a faulty communications link. However, the reasons for this isolation are not as simple as being alone on the moon. (1) comment
