The Technician continues to try to bring to light the various goings-on of Kettering's Student Government. Once again, much was discussed in the last few weeks, but only the most prominent achievements will be recapped here. Now, without further ado, here is what the different sects of KSG have accomplished: Applications for Operations Council, Finance Council, and Academic Council are available! The thought of such an investigation came to me as I realized that many of the people I knew, both at Kettering and at my co-op, seemed to be, for the most part, conservative. In the past few decades, Flint has become known as a city stricken with crime, poverty, and unemployment. However, Flint provides college courses to over 30,000 Kettering University, University of Michigan Flint, Baker College, and Mott Community College students (3). (2) comments

How can one of the cities with the highest crime rate become a safe college town? Believe it or not, we are getting very close to reaching that goal. I recently heard a speech presented by the mayor of Flint, Dayne Walling, during the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Sigma Alpha Epsilon. (0) comments
