Interested in starting a new business venture? Want to become an "innovator" with your current employer? Kettering can help prepare you now with the new Entrepreneurship and Innovation minor.
Kettering University has always had a strong history of developing innovators and entrepreneurs. The new minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship gives students a further "leg up" as they develop key e-ship skills while an undergraduate. Combined with our active student Entrepreneur Society, on-campus Small Business Technology Development Center, annual business plan competition and business incubators, students have the crucial support they need to formulate new ventures and innovations in existing organizations.
Students complete four courses for this minor: the popular Innovations and New Ventures (BUSN572), Entrepreneurial Finance (FINC415), Business Law (BUSN453) and one of the three business minor classes (ACC315, MRKT570, MGMT350). Students can combine the entrepreneurship and innovation minor with a business minor and complete both with just six courses.
