Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge! You can do all of these at the Beta Theta Pi Dragon Dodgeball Tournament on March 8th, 2010 (9th Monday) at the Recreational Center. There will be the classic dodgeball games complete with real rubber dodgeballs, as well as fun side games, like accuracy contests and the opportunity to throw a dodgeball at a staff member or the Beta president, Isaac Meadows, from a set distance. Prizes will include gift certificates to popular local restaurants. All proceeds from this event will go to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.

The tournament cost is $5 per person or $30 per 6-man team. The rules are similar to the Kettering standard, and there will be a judge. Everyone is welcome to come and play. If you do not have a team, you can show up and be placed on one. Likewise, if a team needs an extra person, a Beta can fill in the vacancy.

For those who would rather just donate to the Food Bank, money is preferable to food donations because of the food bank's buying power-they can purchase at better-than-wholesale rates directly from food manufacturers.

So come one and all to have fun, play dodgeball, and help the community! For more information please contact Mike Deter at dete9193@kettering.edu.
