Flint: College Town or Michigan's Frown?

The Riverfront Residence hall takes many precautions to keep students safe. There are two monitored entrances, and the building is staffed night and day. Keycards are also needed to gain entry to the building, and each individual room has its own lock. Security cameras overlook the building while fire alarms and emergency exits are strategically placed throughout. There is also an attached parking garage, so students do not have to walk to their cars in the dark. As if this were not enough, Resident Advisors conduct rounds of the building every evening (2). All of these precautions are taken to insure the safest possible living environment for students. Along with creating a safe living environment for students, the Riverfront Residence Hall provides an entertaining environment. Cable television and internet access are just a few of the amenities provided with rent (2). Living around other students also provides the best environment for forming lifelong friendships, and an easy way to find a study buddy or tutor. All of this comes at one low price which fits any working student's budget. The Flint River Trail and Riverfront Residence hall are well worth looking into for any student attending college in Flint.

The more people that use these trails the safer they will be. I have rode on them for years and never had a problem.
