Welcome from the Panhellenic Council

Issue date: 7/16/10 Section: Greek Life
Welcome to Kettering!
On behalf of the Panhellenic Council, we would like to welcome all freshmen to Kettering for the Summer 2010 term! For those of you not familiar, the Panhellenic Council is an organization which represents the sororities here at Kettering. For A-section, there are only two NPC sororities: Alpha Phi and Alpha Sigma Alpha. The Panhellenic Council governs these two sororities: organized and managed by four members from each sorority.
As Kettering begins its new summer term, many activities and events sponsored by Kettering Greek life have passed. Freshmen move-in and Greek Week welcomed incoming freshmen and brought Kettering to a good start for the summer.
As this summer term gets on its way, each sorority will be hosting their own activities and events every week. Recruitment begins second week and lasts until 5th week Friday. All freshmen women are encouraged to attend all events from both sororities. Event calendars have been distributed in the dorms; however, if you did not receive a calendar, please contact a member of either house.
If you have any questions about recruitment or Greek life in general, please do not hesitate to contact Huong Chim (president of ASA) at chim7773@kettering.edu or Elizabeth Cook (president of Alpha Phi) at cook8836@kettering.edu.
Again, welcome to Kettering University! With all the activities and events Kettering offers, there will never be a dull moment!
